Brian R. Hodge was appointed the university registrar at UC Davis in 2022. Previously, he served as the registrar for Florida Atlantic, a public research university with its main campus in Boca Raton, for six years.

Hodge has more than 25 years of experience in higher education administration. Prior to joining Florida Atlantic, Hodge worked in Enrollment and Student Services at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for more than 10 years, first as the associate director of financial aid systems and then as the associate director and director of student systems and special projects. He served previously as the financial aid director at the Northeastern University School of Law and Simmons University, both in Boston.

He earned a doctorate in education from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Southern Maine.
