This year, nine UC Davis students were selected to participate in the 2024-25 Fulbright U.S. Student Program. They join the ranks of program alumni who went on to become presidents, diplomats, Nobel prize winners and distinguished leaders and scholars.
More than 10,000 visitors flocked to the UC Davis main campus April 6 for First-year Aggie Day, an immersive and interactive celebration for admitted students and their families to get a feel for Aggie life. Hundreds of staff, students and faculty from all four colleges filled every inch of the university with tours, open houses, presentations, informational sessions and activities, excited to help guests jumpstart their next chapter.

This fall, the UC Davis Office of the University Registrar completed the transition of its student records to comply with the University of California Gender Recognition and Lived Name Policy, which allows students to indicate both a lived name and gender designation.
Typically, each October, college students and their families receive alerts that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open. This year, applications for 2024-25 won’t open until December. Along with that delay comes several other changes to the financial aid application process.
More than $6 million in merit scholarships is available for continuing students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. UC Davis Financial Aid and Scholarships opened the 2024-25 Continuing Undergraduate Scholarship Application Oct. 1 and offer several online information sessions to help students with the application.
