Bio

Malisa Lee joined UC Davis as vice provost of Enrollment Management in November 2022. She oversees Financial Aid and Scholarship, Office of University Registrar, Undergraduate Admissions, Analytics, Strategic Technology Initiatives and the Enrollment Management administrative and operations support teams.

Her previous roles include leading admissions, recruitment and outreach, overseeing the registrar, Veteran Success Center, financial aid and scholarships, Federal TRIO programs, Cal-SOAP and other aspects of enrollment management.

Lee joined UC Davis with 15 years of experience in higher education, including at California State University, Fresno, where she served as associate vice president of Enrollment Management for eight years. She also worked at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, where she served as assistant vice chancellor and as director of Undergraduate Admissions.

Lee earned a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree in Education from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Asian American studies from UC Santa Barbara.
