Karen Nosek joined the Enrollment Management Office of the Vice Provost in February 2024. In this role, she provides executive and administrative support to Vice Provost Malisa Lee and the Enrollment Management office. Her responsibilities include overseeing the vice provost’s schedule, travel arrangements, associated committees and task forces as well as providing project management and analytical support for various special projects. She has more than five years of UC Davis administrative experience.

Nosek’s career focuses on customer service, with her initial work predominantly within the restaurant industry before moving into other administrative management roles. Prior to this position in Enrollment Management, she worked as an administrative assistant with Facilities Management as well as an executive assistant with Risk and Safety Solutions. 

Nosek earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Sonoma State University and currently works toward a Project Management Professional Certification through the UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education Project Management Certification Program. 

Born and raised in Davis, she is a lifelong Aggies fan and enjoys attending UC Davis basketball games.
